Not worth it...at all. January 21, 2010 Erin M. Ackley These were a "special" on Amazon and what a great price. HA. So not worth the effort of evening clicking "add to cart". I bought one for my husband and one for my father...thinking what a great idea. I saw the other not so good reviews but figured someine just wasn't happy and wanted to take it out on Black & Decker. Well...I guess I should have paid better attention. They do not work. We charged the unit for hours and then tried to charge an ipod shuffle. It didn't give the ipod and juice...it actually drained the battery life from the ipod. So...if you want to waste your time and money...go ahead and buy one...or two for that matter.
Useless product January 15, 2010 Lawrence Eng (Centreville, Virginia United States) Purchased one from Amazon. Long recharge times. Not able to even fully recharge a cell phone much less the requirements of my smartphones. Died after a few weeks. Wasn't even worth returning or pursuing refund. Completely worthless product!
10 watts - very low - think about it October 11, 2009 David Lum (Pittsford, NY USA) 2 out of 2 found this review helpful
It does work, but carefully read the wattage of what you want to plug in. I didn't. Keep thinking: 10 watts, 10 watts, 10 watts.
Useless September 22, 2009 mbmbbost (Boston) 2 out of 2 found this review helpful
The one I bought will not hold a charge long enough to be worth carrying around. Dead within a day without being used.
NOT A HAPPY CUSTOMER!!!! August 20, 2009 Andrew N. Proveaux (texas) 1 out of 1 found this review helpful
I bought 3 of these battery packs because i hav a 20 and a 100 battery backup. well I thought these might do good for a game or a cell while on the road at times... WRONG!!!!!! As I said I bought3, and when i started to charge the first one I set it aside for about 2 hours and came back and it was charged. GREAT!!! then I hooked up the second one and did the same and came bac to it in about 2 more hours and it indicated that it was DEAD no life at all. So I let it charge for an additional amout of time. well 6 hours more and it was still DEAD!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
So I decided to try the 3rd one and hooked it up and charged it for about 2 hours and checked to see if it was holding a charge and NOPE!!!!! it wasnt charging either. the first battery pack held a chrge for about one day and that wasn't any where near a full charge back up. I tried to recharge it agin and none of these batteries are working. I suppose they have become the next best thing and that is an over priced paper weight.Black & Decker CPI10B 10 Watt Power To Go Cordless Compact AC/USB Power Supply (Black)
