Terrible Customer Service November 25, 2008 0 out of 2 found this review helpful
I ordered this torque wrench and tracked it's progress which was in a very timely maner. However I received a call from our local UPS station notifing me of the issue that the item was not pack properly and fell out of the box during transit. I contacted ToolTopia to discuss getting a replacement. I was told that the only way to contact the warehouse is through email that they can only do, so I explained the issue while the CSR did the email. I checked their website and in my account all it said was case closed..I still do not have a torque wrench, UPS is doing a claim for them, and they got their money. I did do a A-Z claim through Amazon to get a refund. I strongly recommend NOT using ToolTopia to purchase anything, and if you do remember this review..

I have not actually used this torque wrench as yet, but I will say that it is very substantial. Heavy, appearing to be well made. I can't quite figure out how to adjust the torque settings yet.

I purchased the mountain model MTN16250 torque wrench to replace front bearing assemblies on my Ford Explorer. The dealer wanted over $1130 dollars for the repair.I did it for $425 plus I payed for the torque wrench. The torque wrench worked extremely well and was well worth the price.
1/2" Torque Wrench August 28, 2008 3 out of 3 found this review helpful
Torque Wrench arrived in a timely manner. Was impressed with the quality and the functions of the wrench. It is easy to set the amount of torque you want to apply by turning a set screw at the bottom and then turning the handle to the appropriate setting. This is very simple compared to the last torque wrench that a friend gave to me that quit working (Craftsman - and they don't guarantee them either). I am totally satisfied with this product. It also came with a very nice carrying case.
Good deal! July 12, 2008 2 out of 3 found this review helpful
I just bought a new Honda ATV about a month ago. I also bought an extra set of tires and rims. I didn't have a torque wrench though. I ordered this wrench and it is really nice. I saw a comparable one at Lowes and it was $30+ more without tax.
